The Care Bag Classic S hygienic cover protects the orthopaedic (slipper) bedpan. The GelMax super absorbent pad, which turns organic liquids and matter into gel and blocks smells, makes the collection, transportation and disposal of the contents of the orthopaedic bedpan more safe. As such, this system which is user-friendly helps limit the spread of harmful bacteria. The hygienic cover allows the rapid and effective completion of the task of cleaning the bedpan following the collection of urine and stool.

Hygienic: The GelMax super absorbent pad solidifies up to 500ml of organic liquid (urine, vomit, blood and feces). It helps reduce the risks of splashes, spills, and germ dispersal (fight against nosocomial infections, cross-contamination…).

Practical: Once the bedpan is wrapped and protected with the Care Bag hygienic cover, eliminating its contents is quick and easy. All that is needed is to remove the cover, close it securely and discard it in the designated area (same area as the disposable diapers, in the room’s waste basket, or in case of infection, with biomedical waste).
